Returning Your Ballot

Benton County's General Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

Ballot drop box locations close at 8 PM on Election Day. Visit the Drop Box Locations page to find the list of drop box locations that are open for the current election.

If you choose to mail your ballot, the USPS recommends domestic voters mail their ballots at least one week before Election Day to allow sufficient processing time.  While the USPS tries to postmark all ballot envelopes, postmark dates may not match mailing dates due to processing delays.  To guarantee your ballot receives an accurate postmark, you may have it hand canceled at a Post Office retail counter free of charge.  

Si decide enviar su boleta por correo, el USPS recomienda que los votantes nacionales envíen sus boletas por correo al menos una semana antes del Día de las Elecciones para permitir suficiente tiempo de procesamiento. Mientras que el USPS intenta sellar todos los sobres de boletas, es posible que las fechas de sello no coincidan con las fechas de envío debido a retrasos en el procesamiento. Para garantizar que su boleta reciba un matasellos exacto, usted puede hacer que se cancele la mano en un mostrador de la Oficina de Correos sin costo alguno.
