Individuals ordered to comply with certain conditions must contact the probation department:

The Probation department monitors conditions of sentence ordered by the Benton County District Court Judge(s).

The probation officer will review with the individual the specific probation requirements that are listed on their Judgment and Sentence.  Individuals given an appointment must report to probation on the date provided by the Court or probation officer.  If for any reason the individual is unable to attend his/her scheduled appointment, he/she must call the office and re-schedule the appointment.

Restitution payments may be made using one of the following options:

  • Cash: At the cashier's window
  • Cashier's Check or Money Order: Payable to Benton County District Court.
  • Online:  www.bentontix.com
  • Telephone: 855-873-9709

Please include your case number with your payment.

  • Questions about jail time, work crew, or work release contact the jail at 509-783-1451.
  • Questions about your driver’s license, Ignition Interlock requirements, or SR22 Insurance, contact DOL at 360-902-3900.
  • Have specific questions about fines, you may need to talk to the cashiers directly.
  • Cashiers are available at 509-735-8476 option 7, or by email at dc.cashiers@co.benton.wa.us

*If you know the ticket or fine has gone to collections, then you need to contact the Collection Agency.
