What is the Parent Coalition?

Advocating within a network:
Helping parents and families become effective advocates in support of their 
loved one’s best interests and other collective concerns of families

Family connection:
Raising a loved one with developmental disabilities can feel isolating! 
Connection with other families can be a source of understanding, strength, validation and empowerment.

Assists families:
A county-sponsored organization designed to bring resources and an informed network of contacts to families

Who should belong:
Families and individuals who have loved ones of any age with developmental disabilities

Step-by-step education:
Provides an array of presentations, workshops and materials including contact information and referrals

as well. Join this collaborative advocacy luncheon, and together we'll break issues
