Where to File

The  Secretary of State accepts candidate filings for United States Senator, United States Representative, Statewide Executive, State Legislative, Supreme Court Justice, Court of Appeals Judge, and Superior Court Judge. All single-county Legislative, Superior Court, and Court of Appeals positions now file with the Office of the Secretary of State.

The Benton County Auditor's Office accepts filings for all countywide and local offices. Candidates are encouraged to  file for office online. Online filing Opens at 8AM on May 4th and Closes at 5PM on May 8th.

05/08/26 Last day to file a declaration of candidacy.
05/11/26 Final Day to withdraw from the ballot
05/19/26 Deadline for submission of Voters' Pamphlet statements and photographs.
2026 Resolution Filing Dates
12/12/25 Last day to file a resolution for the 2026 February Special Election.
02/27/26 Last day to file a resolution for the 2026 April Special Election.
05/01/26 Last day to file a resolution for the 2026 August Primary Election.
08/04/26 Last day to file a resolution for the 2026 November General Election.
