The Hearings Examiner holds hearings on the third Friday of every month at 10:00 a.m. If there are no agenda items, the hearing will be canceled. If the hearing falls on the same day as a holiday, the hearing will be moved to the next Friday.
Occasionally, hearings will be rescheduled due to other scheduling conflicts.
All hearings or cancellations are listed on the Public Notices page as well as on the Agendas page. These changes will all be reflected on the County's calendar and also on the agendas page. Due to COVID restrictions, all hearings will be virtual until further notice. The public is welcome to participate via video conferencing, telephonically, or by written comment prior to the hearing. Any questions regarding participating in a hearing can be directed to the Planning Department at 509-786-5612 or planning.department@co.benton.wa.us.
Benton County welcomes full participation in public meetings by all citizens. No individual with a disability shall be denied the benefit of participating in such meetings. If you wish to use auxiliary aids or require assistance to comment at a public meeting, please contact the Benton County Planning Department at least ten days prior to the meeting date to make arrangements for special needs.
