Gum Street will be closed from E 19th Avenue to E 21st Place during the day from April 27th through April 30th due to BPA replacing a power pole to modernize and provide longevity. Please see the attached maps which provide the detour route.
Hanks Road is closed indefinitely from Obrien Road to Case Road due to a road failure. A detour is in place through Evans Road. We will provide updates as the situation changes.
Per Resolution 2024-0657 Ayers Road shall be closed for its entire length extending from its intersection with Meals Road to the end of the county road from September 10, 2024 to December 31, 2025 to all vehicles, except for pedestrian traffic, bicycles, and the vehicles belonging to adjacent landowners and their visitors, railroad operators, and emergency responders. This road closure has been extended until December 31, 2026 per Resolution 2026-42.
The Air photo below shows the 2.12-mile Ayers Road (white) extending form its intersection with Meals Road (Gray) to its end point at Yellepit where the newly-acquired County property is located. The temporary closure gate is located on Ayers Road a few feet from its intersection with Meals.
This area is now open, please use caution due to partial gravel road.
