Dropping Off Property
The Benton County Jail does not accept deliveries for inmates except as follows:
- One set of court clothes (and only during jury trials).
- Prescription eye glasses
- Necessary medical equipment, as evaluated by Jail medical staff.
- Prescription drugs with current prescription and in original containers
Picking Up Property
Inmates are able to sign release forms while in custody that allow us to release all of their property with the exception of clothing to a third party. We must have a signed release form on file in order to release property, even if the inmate has already been transferred to prison.
To pick up property that has been released to you, bring photo identification to the after hours jail entrance between 8 and 9 AM or 8 and 9 PM. Property releases are done during these two hours only. The after hours entrance to the jail is located to the left of the main Jail lobby entrance (tall building to the left).
